Dan works flexibly, offering bespoke support for all children with SEND, including those with historically underserved populations such as those receiving home education, those with refugee status, and children and young people in the care system. It is designed as a complimentary business (not a competitive one) and aims to run in harmony with local authority EP services in the area.

Dan offers a wide range of services including, but not limited to:

• Improving participation in learning
• Support to understand special education needs and disabilities
• Supervision, coaching and consultation for education staff
• Support for emotional health and well-being with advice around appropriate interventions
• Parent and/or teacher consultation and drop-ins
• Whole school capacity building and support for staff wellbeing.

Dan offers annual, termly, and half-term packages for education settings as well as ‘pay-as-you-go’ bespoke person-centred support for children and young people with SEND.

a means [discussion] of being able to consider and apply appropriate psychological theory and understanding with parents and teachers where there are concerns about a child. The aim of the consultation is to reach a better understanding of the child and their situation, and develop an agreed plan to improve the situation, with the intention of enhanced outcomes at home and at school (Nolan & Moreland, 2014).
